Wanderlust believes that theatre should be limitless and accessible for all.
In pursuit of our vision and purpose, Wanderlust needs the support of imaginative individuals and organizations who will enable us to explore new possibilities in site-responsive musical theatre.
Your contribution supports the development of the organization, enabling us to bring resonant stories into the communities they reflect.

We are currently developing:

-
THREADS, an original folk musical based on the 1920 Loray Mill Strike. After the premiere staged reading of the first act in May 2024, our creative team is working toward developing the full show for a staged reading on-site at the Loray Mill in Summer 2025. Donations will support the completion of the script and score by the creative team, the development of choreography by Nouveau Sud Circus Project, and the ethical payment for the actors and creatives who take part in the next staged reading.

-
THE FRENCHTOWN PROJECT, an auditory and ambulatory musical theatre experience that pairs with the Frenchtown Heritage Trail, which celebrates the rich history of Frenchtown, Florida's oldest Black neighborhood. Donations will support a live, premiere launch performance to introduce The Frenchtown Project to the city of Tallahassee and launch its corresponding interactive mobile app.

Your vital donation also helps us:

-
Bring nationally acclaimed theatre artists to work on Wanderlust productions
-
Partner with local businesses
-
Support local and visiting professional theatre artists through ethical, industry-standard compensation.
-
Contribute to production costs related to costumes, set design, lighting, etc.
-
Provide foundational framework for a thriving, innovative organization.
